Ok here's a silly question...do you wear your jeans/pants tucked INTO your cowboy boots or OVER your cowboy boots? Is it a matter of preference? Or is there a right and wrong way to wear your cowboy boots? I woke up thinking about this today. I have seen pictures of people who wear thier jeans in their boots and that just looks uncomfortale to me. I have always worn my jeans over my boots. But then again the decorated stitching part of the cowboy boot is on the top and if jeans are worn over, no one gets to see that part.

Its function over form exy if your doing alot of brush poping alot of guys tuck there pant legs in so they dont get caught in the brush some do it just too do it. Also if you ride for any lenght you will notice the inside of your thigh will get sore from the seam of your jeans rubbin on it that is also why the guys wear the higher top boots and tuck them in also.

Some people wouldn't be caught dead with their jeans tucked into their boots but I like to have the option to ride either way, depending on the situation. If my jeans are long enough and my boot socks are tall enough I like to ride with jeans out. But some of my older pairs of jeans and socks aren't up to snuff and the ride is more comfortable if I tuck the jeans in even though my boots are not much to look at. My current boots aren't as tall as I'd like, either. I've got a pair on order that will be taller; I'll have to see which way is more comfortable with those because I don't own any boot socks that tall. I'm fussy about my socks - I only use Thor-los now - not sure I can find any to reach the top of taller boots. If the tops of the boots rub I'll be tucking my jeans in. ;)

Lol! I use whatever socks I can find! I don't even match color. Just thickness and texture. I almost always ride in shaps or chinks. So I always wear my jeans over my jeans. We have a lot of brush and brambles here. Rasberries and Blackberries grow everywhere and wild. Also wild roses. So I always make a point to wear shaps or chinks so I don't get too cut up. I need to find a good hacket to wear. My arms get so cut up. But I hate being hot. So in the summer if it's 85 deg and over, I usually go in a tshirt or tanktop. Which is another reason I live here! I don't like heat!
