Hello,
Just a quick note to introduce myself. I live up in Washington, wet side.
I've been getting EH for years. I'm lucky enough to be across the street from a good
Centered Riding arena with seasoned instructors. I'm also lucky enough
to be 7 miles from a roping, reined cowhorse arena with a very good
instuctor who understands how things are done out in the brush with cows and horses.
I've had a horse since I was 5. Worked through Jr. High, High School and
College running a dude string. Met my wife there, ranch romance.
We've had a business, Hitching Post Supply, for about 20 years(hitchingpostsupply.com).
I currently have Three horses. Not particularly pets, but good using horses. Probably first
level dressage, head, heel, or ranch rope. Or anything else I want to do. Lots of trust.
Two are rescue horses.

Hi there - welcome! Ooh, you are lucky! I'd love to be that close to a good roping/reined cowhorse facility. There is a great guy for that stuff but he's about an hour's haul away and I still don't have a trailer. (This is gonna change soon. ;)) I am quite near an excellent Centered Riding instructor, though, and by the end of July will be boarding with a great woman who has studied pretty much everything. Classical dressage (years ago with some famous masters), natural horsemanship (most recently Harry Whitney), is trained and practices both human and equine therapeutic massage, and has taken courses in Feldenkrais. She's been fixing up a gorgeous piece of property with access to trails. Fencing off pastures, barn renovation, building shelters, putting in round pen and 125 x 200 arena. Can't wait to get moved over there!

And cool on the rescues, too. Buena is my rescue and Ariel could be considered on just because of her mental state.
