LOVE LOVE Trudy Exton and rode in her last clinic....see details about her and clinic below. I'd highly recommend her, especially if you like Brannaman, Dorrance, Hunt, Wolter, etc. She worked with Gene Lewis for many years...

================================================== =
Trudy Exton has a lifelong commitment to the horsemanship principles
established by Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Joe Wolter, Buck Brannaman,
and Peter Campbell. Whether you are a Grand Prix rider or a pleasure
rider, a partnership with your horse based on mutual respect will improve
your riding. Good communication and safe riding start with understanding
the world from the horse’s point of view.

About Trudy:
At the beginning of her career Trudy Exton spent ten years working for Gene Lewis in Modesto, California, one of the truly great horsemen of the 50s through the 90s, having been awarded the National Pegasus Award by the United States Equestrian Association in 2002. Many advanced riders including David O'Connor have continued to write about the importance of establishing good communication with your horse both on the ground and in the saddle. Good communication and safe riding start with understanding the world from the horse's point of view.

Choose a 2 or 3 day clinic in either Horsemanship or Jumping

• Horsemanship - Ground Work and Under Saddle
Ground work foundation establishes communication and respect between
you and your horse which translates into a better “feel” under saddle and a
horse that is more willing to work with you. Working on the ground
exercises will help you to “read” and control your horse so that you will be
a safer rider and your horse a safer mount. This is a very fun and safe clinic
open to riders of all levels and ages.

• Horsemanship - Jumping Class
This clinic offers the opportunity to work on exercises to prepare horses for
the jumping arena. Learn how ground exercises can create a horse more
supple and responsive to your aids. In the arena this translates into better
control and “feel” of your horse. Trudy’s extensive background in Natural
Horsemanship and International Level Jumpers provides a unique
perspective of the communication needed in this discipline. Jumping
experience required.

Cost: $275.00 2 day clinic / $375.00 3 day clinic option
Driscoll Ranch, a place where strangers meet and leave as friends, is a beautiful

Thanks for posting this! I haven't been to one of Trudy's clinics, but she has brought students to ride with her in some of the same Peter Campbell clinics I've ridden in, and I really liked her.
