Hey, we might as well take a new thread to introduce ourselves instead of all piling up in the same place!
I am totally eclectic, so EH works well for me. I live in NW New Mexico in the middle of nowhere. I have eight equids, three of which are horses. I like to train my critters to do funny stuff.
I have a little guest facility and try to have clinics down here or host trail rides (see dinetahtrails.com and largocanyon.com).
I write two horse related blogs:
The Hinny Whisperer (www.hinnywhisperer.com/blog.html) and Experiments in Training Equines (www.dinetahtrails.com/blog/ ) I am very involved in training with positive reinforcement and experimenting with equine training. I consider myself a serious student of the equid mind and no effective methodology is uninteresting to me.
I am really glad that Emily finally got around to relaunching the forum and happy to see so many people are signed on.
Yrs,
