ok...here is what we are up to...Kat and I have reserved a few rooms at the Travelodge, in RedBluff...we stayed at another hotel last year, but they were booked up, SO...the road trip is on, and we have a safe soft place for you to stay..the rooms are pretty reasonable, so if you think you might want to join us all, let Kat or I know. The rooms are pretty close together, on the same floor....The Californios just updated their web page today, with a
list of the events, and Ian Tyson will be there Saturday night...sould be really fun..hope to see you there.

Ian Tyson and I get to meet you all! It just doesn't get any better than that.
Please let me know if you need a room, I have one extra on the second floor right next to Red's.

And, sorry we can't make the Californios this year but if any of you are making your way to Winnemucca afterwards we have plenty of room. Would love to have you visit.

I dunno how we could miss each other!!! But, just in case, look for a short redhead, with fancy hair...who will be laughing, or most likely looking at the horses and all of the horse jewelry and Martin Black had a pair of spurs with him last year, and I just might have to have em...oh, it is so much fun, but I hope the weather is cooler, then last year..Who else is going to make it this time?

Unfortunately I do not think I'll be able to make it this year. I just came back from the Dominican Republic today...then I'm going to Ohio for Equine Affaire in early April then I'm going to London and Egypt for June. To stick in a trip to Califonia would just be way too much traveling for me. Mayhaps we can meet up somewhere else later on in the year!

Well guys it was 60% yes, 40% no last night. Now I would venture to say it's 70% yes and 30% no. So mayhaps I actually will be there this year. I'm checking up on a few things. I will rent a car which is scary because I've never rented a car before! Definitely bringing my TOMTOM Navigation with me or else I'll hyperventalate.

I went to the one last year and some some great trainers but none that really came close to the Californio tradition. I really enjoyed it though. I found a lot of things there that I needed. The sales are amazing. Lol. Horse shopper's paradise for sure. I need to get some non-californio gear so I'll be getting a good deal of it there! I am excited to see Leslie Desmond too.
Pleasure for London and Egypt. France is WONDERFUL. I was there twice. I did a week in paris and a week in the Loire Valley, the other time I just did Paris. It's an amazing city. I want to go back soooooooooo bad!!!

Ok well a couple things camed up. One has come up for the last month and that is my roommate moving out (yay!) but because she moved out I can't have the liberty of troting around the country since I have to rake what ever $ I can to pay bills and horse stuff. Two I *MIGHT* be getting a new horse. BIG might here and most likely not. I'll post details once I hear and see if I can figure things out. She's a rescue and looking for a home. I don't need another horse, I don't want another horse but I'm willing to take her in and find her the home she needs and work with her. So we'll see if it happens. But because of those things I cannot go to Californios this year. However I have spoken with my trainer adn she mentioned going next year which hopefully will most definitely happen. Even if she doesn't come, I hope to go, financially willing, next year for sure. And skip out on Equine Affaire. I'd much rather go to the Californios! Had I known in advance I would certainly have gone to Californios over Equine Affaire. But alas I just met you fine ladies and I already ahd reservations. :::sigh:::
