Is anyone planning to attend the Buck Brannaman clinic in Hollister, CA in April? I don't have a horse to ride, but I did get tickets to audit all four days of the clinic. Wondering if anyone else is planning to audit - or better yet, ride in the clinic. From what the clinic sponsor told me, they completely sold out for spectators a couple weeks ago. The equestrian center indoor arena holds 500 in grandstand seating, so that's impressive. It should be a fun clinic to watch.

I know some people who will be riding and others who will be watching, but am not sure I'll make it there myself. Buck's clinics are always good to watch. :)

Oh, I wish I had a horse to ride in a clinic this year. Maybe next year.
I'm happy to be able to get in for all four days to audit though. Will be watching closely and taking copious notes.
Hope you can make it. Would love to meet you!

My husband and I have an anniversary that weekend so if I do come it will probably be on Monday. It's better to watch all four days, which I did last time he was here. But Day 4 is a good day to watch. :)

Hi Gang,
I'm soooo blessed that I get to ride in this clinic with Buck! I was just extended the invitation yesterday, because one of the participants had to drop. I'm so excited!!!!
I did a Bonnie Stoehn clinic last weekend (she is the organizer and a long-time friend/student of Buck) and she thought I would enjoy the learning. I'm just tickled that she called me when the spot opened up!!! :)
I've audited three of his clinics over the last several years (typically when he comes to this area - Salinas) and now this time, Gilroy Gaits is in my backyard, so it'll be so nice (the venue is less than 15 minutes from my home ranch)
I might be the only English rider there...heheheheeee. But I believe in this approach and want to learn how to communicate better with feel and timing so my horse is "with me" and my idea becomes her idea.
Should be fun!
Teddy - you can't miss me. I'll probably be the only Hapa (Half Asian/Half White), on the only Morgan (liver flaxen) and the only English rider (H/J, Eventer, Foxhunter) If you see us hanging around, feel free to say hello! I love this forum (just don't frequent it often)

Congrats, Elaine! Am excited for you and Fancy. :) You may not be the only English rider at the clinic - there are usually a few! I might come watch on the Sunday.

Thanks Franca.
So you were able to get an Auditing Ticket? They sold out months ago. One can't just go and watch, like in the old days. You would have had to have purchased an auditing ticket well in advance, from Bonnie.
I have an extra one for Monday - the last day.

I think I have someone's extra for Sunday. I'd be interested in your extra for Monday if you need to find a home for it. :)
