I'm riding my KMSH nicely in a working bosal and very nice mecate made by Sara Hagel. I would like to move him to a soft leather bosal, but have been unable to locate one. I have a friend with one, but hers was made as a gift from someone who does not market them. Does anyone know of a source?
BTW, I really like this forum setup as opposed to the previous board!

A few years ago I bought a really nice one from Bryan Neubert that his son Luke made. Bryan is also braiding some nice ones to. He usually brings a few to his clinics. www.byranneubert.com

Byran had 4-5 of them last summer that he made. I bet if you gave a call or email he would let you know if he has any left or is in the process of making any. They aren't cheap either but worth the price.
Good Luck!

I appreciate the tip. I did send him an email to inquire. Just seems like it would be a great tool.
I bought one from Sara Hagel. She knows a guy who makes them. LD

I talked with Sara. The fellow she knows doesn't have any at this time. She was my first choice!!

I have a beautiful Steve Guitron latigo bosal that I got years ago from Amy and Steve LeSatz.

Thanks, EHC. I have a Vince Donley rawhide bosal. The Hal Steele appears to be rawhide, too. Very nice, but I am looking for an all-leather one.
