What Some Eclectic Folks Are Saying...

I look forward to each Electic Horseman issue.  I have been a part of the hunter/jumper community most of my life.  I have found so many little bits of information that have helped me in my teaching, everday riding, and understanding of the wonderful, sensitive horse himself.  EH is about the horse, not just the ride, which I find more often than not among most riders - not just the hunters which I am concerned with most of the time, but other disciplines as well. Keep spreading the word - the more you understand the horse, the better the ride!!!

With regards to why I enjoy Eclectic-Horseman ~ There's a community network feel to what the magazine offers with each issue.  The articles give the reader something to think about, exercises for developing good horsemanship skills,  and it has something for all levels of riders.

Horsemen of the world,  please cut this oleman some slack when you hear me preaching and braggin' about the good that can come from you subscribing to this little,  but loud  magazine,  ' Eclectic Horseman ' .   yes, truly eclectic,  yes, truly positive on the nature of your outlook reference your bettering horsemanship.  you, will interpret the articles as you first browse them relative to your time allowed, then like most,  you will go back and relate your own efforts, in your own style, to your own tastes, all those good thoughts offered for your education and the fun of new ways to look at your horse's advancing education.  curl up with this bundle of good information and your horses will love you for it.  for you cyber types,, go ahead and bang in to the eclectic horse forum at will and browse or introduce yourself. your choice.  you will be welcomed by an 'eclectic' bunch that will help you ferret out ways to help your horses find a better and safer way to deal with the human world.  you won't find much fluff here,  however, in balance, you will find that you feel much better about yourself as a horseman.  it is mucho informative and entertaining to some , and near bible-like to most.

Over the past 35 years, I've subscribed to a large number of horse magazines, but I've never gotten as much out of any of them as I have Eclectic Horseman. Other magazines' training articles always hit the high points but left out come critical little details that left me frustrated.Your use of pictures along with explanations really helps!

I love getting my copy of EH... In every copy there is something that helps me become a better horseperson... Living in Australia I don't get to go to many clinics and the EH Magazine is my bi monthly "clinic"

I confess: I was once an English-riding snob -- and I still prefer to ride in my English saddle and train in dressage. But Eclectic Horseman helped me realize an obvious truth: good horsemanship is good horsemanship, no matter what saddle you sit in. I love the variety and depth of the articles, dressage mixed in with natural horsemanship and roping, and the acceptance of all of us who love and respect horses. The design is clean, the photos are great, the writing and editing is outstanding. Thanks for an excellent little magazine -- I promote it every chance I get!
